Elaine U14 cricketers have won back-to-back premierships in a commanding display against Ballarat-Redan this weekend. Bowling first at Buninyong, Elaine restricted Ballarat-Redan to 3/104 off their first 25 overs, and then posted 0/143 in reply, with the usual suspects Nicholas Pantzidis and Seamus Dunne both posting 52 not out.  Batting again first on Sunday, the lads completed their innings with most players making important contributions, posting a formidable total of 9/232 off their 50 overs. In particular, Angus Hogarth (21), Kyle Ettridge (24), Angus Miller (25) and Brodie Wells (18) and Rory Ludenman (10*) all batted with poise and maturity. Ballarat-Redan required more than 5 runs per over in their innings, but it was too much, succumbing to 10/185 after 47 overs. Kade Wells was the chief destroyer taking 3/19, with Kyle Ettridge (2/29) and Nicholas Pantzidis (2/26) chipping in also.
